LATVIETIS
Since year 1854 till year 1858 K. Valdemārs was studying science of country and economics at university of Tērbata. He was proud to hang label ''latvietis'' on his student room doors. From educated latvians K. Valdemārs was the first who publicly admitted his nationality and suggested not to be shy and not to fall of that.
Latvietis and latviete idea is to popularize local latvian manufacturers, craftsmans and brave businessmans who makes modern and quality products here in Latvia, uniting them with brand name Latvietis.
